Not if: I’m studying

We all know that keeping quiet in a library is good manners, but in this video all of that goes out the window. With dirty looks from a librarian, and megaphone blaring out at you, all because you kept your mobile phone on—nothing could be more embarrassing. Or could it?

We all know when to behave appropriately in certain social situations, and this does include driving. Answering your phone when driving is an accident waiting to happen and it’s illegal (exception with hands free ). If you get caught, this can leave you with a fine of £100 on the spot and three points on your licence.

Our advice

If you are setting off to drive, don’t be tempted to check your text or make a quick call. Try turning your phone on silent or keeping your phone in the back seat out of temptations way.
